Few people realize how complicated it is to build, that is until they find themselves lost in a maze of design options, building codes, zoning laws, contractors and so on. No two building projects are exactly alike.

The architect’s services are a wise investment for the money, not an added cost to your project. Why? Because a well conceived project can be built more efficiently and economically. Architects plan your project with you. As your ideas evolve, changes can be made on paper – much less expensively than later on when construction is underway. Thorough drawings also make it easier for the contractor to accurately price and build your project.

Critical to the success of any project is the establishment of a realistic budget. For this reason, we often suggest the partnership with a qualified General Contractor early in the development of any project. This design/build kind of organization provides the best technical skills and always generates the best overall result. This form of collaboration also allows the client to remain a more integral part of the decision-making process throughout the life of the project.

We operate a highly automated practice with computer aided design and drafting programs. To ensure timely and accurate information transfer, we exchange and update drawings electronically with our consultants and production support providers. We have found that integrating computer technology throughout the architectural process allows more effective communication, more rapid and accurate documentation and the ability to compare alternative solutions and make prompt, cost effective design changes.

Common to all aspects of this pursuit is the specialized use of advanced computer technology. In order to approach this role, we have continually made a commitment to the use of technology for conceptual design, design development and constrcution documents production. Project teams are assembled according to the requirements of the project and are composed of a complementary blend of knowledgable professionals. These professionals may include structural, mechanical or electrical engineering services or input from landscape or interior designers. Our consultants and clients comprise an important source of feedback, information and assistance.
