<p>A typical two storey side hall plan dwelling was renovated to contain three second floor bedrooms and a new large living room opening into a deep backyard. The existing basement was underpinned to improve headroom <span id="more-91"></span>and a new home office space was created under the new living room addition with a separate side yard walkout. The master bedroom space was vaulted with a french door balcony to the rear yard. All other infrastructure including plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems were upgraded through the course of the renovation and addition.</p>

<p>In 2007 Trebas Institute moved in to new premises designed by Chris A. Montgomery Architect. The layout includes a series of classrooms, studios, sound engineering rooms, <span id="more-83"></span>computer labs and school administration ofices. The total floor area is approximately 21, 000 square feet. Established in 1979 as a private career college, Trebas Institute was created in response to the music and entertainment industry&#8217;s need for skilled professionals. Trebas Institute provides the pathway to success in the digital media world. Major entertainment companies, studios and artists around the world employ Trebas graduates. The Institute is registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Private Institutions Branch, under the Private Career Colleges Act, Province of Ontario.</p>
